Introducing: The Money and Media Podcast – Episode 1, Farnoosh Torabi

We’re thrilled to have Farnoosh Torabi join us to kick off the new Money & Media podcast! We’ll discuss how she personally struggled with debt. She’ll share stories about learning from luminaries such as Jean Chatzky and Jim Cramer. She’ll address how she built her brand, from initially hustling for very little money to finally writing her first book and crafting the first building blocks of the “Farnoosh” brand.

Some important concepts we discuss with Farnoosh include the value of working hard, the importance of creating your own property (such as a book) and taking advantage of opportunities when they’re presented.

Peter Anderson (BibleMoneyMatters.com) and Lauren Bowling (LBAndTheMoneyTree.com) join in the fun later in the show with their top 5 lessons from FinCon 2013. We’ll discuss lessons ranging from networking, monetization, making a first impression with your website and more. Thanks to both Peter and Lauren for sharing strategies they’re using to improve their online properties.
