T. Rowe Price is partnering with the United Way to donate backpacks to the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte, NC.

Volunteers will help kids prepare for school by filling the donated backpacks with school supplies and financial education materials.

We need your help to reach our goal of 200 backpacks! Filling one backpack will only take 10 minutes of your time.

Who it will impact: The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte offers a safe, positive, affordable place for over 1500 children ages 6 to 18 to go after school and during the summer. Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those with the most need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Their three main priority outcomes are: academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. They have six clubs in Charlotte and two in nearby Union County. Their goal is for all club members to leave the program after graduation prepared to pursue a career, participate positively in the community and lead healthy lives. Ballerina Misty Copeland shares her positive experience with the Boys & Girls Club here.
