Thank you for participating in #FinHealthMatters Day this past June 29!

The day was a far greater success than we could have imagined, and the level of engagement around financial health was absolutely incredible! For the day itself, we saw more than 900 people tweeting about it, with more than 2,000 tweets — adding up to nearly 9 million impressions for #FinHealthMatters. The 100+ essay submissions we received represented diverse audiences and viewpoints from highly personal perspectives.

How would you like to win your way to FinCon?

We’ve partnered with the Center for Financial Services Innovation to put together a blog post contest so you can win your way to FinCon!

How to enter in three easy steps:

  1. Write a short (about 500 words) essay called “What Financial Health Means to Me.” It could take the form of a personal story, an anecdotal story, or a community story. (See the “Resources” section in the link below for data you could use to give context to your story.)
  2. Post the story on June 29, 2016. This *exact date* is important!
  3. Submit a link to your story on June 29, 2016 to enter – submission form will be linked here on June 29, 2016!

Bonus step: Socialize your story on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #FinHealthMatters!

Ten winners will receive a free pass to FinCon, plus travel reimbursement of up to $1,500. Winners will also receive a ticket to an exclusive FinX workshop in San Diego on Wednesday before the conference begins!

Nine winners will be chosen by a panel of judges based upon the criteria set forth on the webpage. A tenth winner will be chosen for the highest level of social engagement for his/her blog post on Twitter and Instagram measured between June 29 and July 6, 2016, so be sure to use the hashtag #FinHealthMatters!
