Guide to FinCon Dress Code
FinCon has no strict dress code. However, most attendees wear something in the range of casual to business casual attire. Nice jeans, comfortable shoes and a t-shirt is the most common look.
With the exception of the official kick-off party, all official conference events are happening at the host hotel. As you know conference rooms can get chilly so bring an extra layer.
Right now, the weather is predicting that temperatures in Dallas will be 60 – 75 degrees. But it could go as high as the 80s and as low as the 50s.
Bring a tasteful costume for the official closing party. Best costume gets a free pass to #FinCon18.
Plan Your #FinCon17 Schedule
App Schedule. Download the app and create your personalized schedule. Read session descriptions and check out speaker bios. You DON’T have to register for sessions in advance. However, seating is limited in our Solution and Innovation center sessions. Arrive early to ensure your spot.

Worried you won’t be able to see every session you want live? Not a problem. Each #FinCon17 attendee gets a free copy of the 2017 Virtual Pass, which includes HD recorded video of all of the sessions, available a few weeks after the conference.
First-Timer Orientation Sessions. Wed at 2 PM and Thurs. at 8:30 AM
Community Meetups. You can add your own meetup to the schedule. Planning a community gathering of your own that’s open to all? Share it with us and we’ll add it to the schedule.
What to Eat
FinCon is providing lunch on Thursday and breakfast on Friday. Ally is providing food for our Official kick off opening party on Thursday night. All other meals are on your own.
You can purchase food from kiosks in the expo hall (Friday only), as well as the hotel restaurant, sports bar, and gift shop. There is also a food court at the nearby Plaza of the Americas.
Getting to the Hotel

Parking at the host hotel is $23/$31 (self/valet) per night.
