Jean Chatzky, AARP’s Financial Ambassador, to Speak at #FinCon18

We are excited to announce that Jean Chatzky, the TODAY show financial editor, AARP’s personal finance ambassador, and host of the podcast HerMoney with Jean Chatzky, will be speaking at #FinCon18. As AARP’s Financial Ambassador, Jean writes a regular personal finance column for AARP The Magazine and will represent our Presenting Sponsor AARP at #FinCon18 on the main stage on Wednesday evening.

In addition to her work with AARP, NBC, and other organizations, Jean is also a best-selling author. Her latest book, AgeProof: Living Longer Without Running Out of Money or Breaking a Hip, which she wrote with Dr. Michael Roizen, is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller. In 2015, Jean teamed up with Time for Kids and The PwC Charitable Foundation to launch Your $, a financial literacy magazine reaching two million schoolchildren each month.

She lives with her family in Westchester County, New York.

Mr. Money Mustache to Return to the FinCon Stage in Orlando

We’re also excited to announce that Mr. Money Mustache will be returning to FinCon and joining us for a Big Ideas conversation on the main stage.

Mr. Money Mustache—also known in real life as Pete Adeney—retired from tech work at age 30 in order to raise a family. Later, he started a blog to share the “how” and “why” of early retirement with the world.

Pete last spoke on FinCon’s main stage in 2012 when he shared about creating a cult of loyal readers. We’re thrilled he’s returning for #FinCon18 and to get to hear how his perspective has changed, what he thinks about the current state of the FI/RE movement, and more!
