"The very best part of FinCon was looking around and seeing people working on lifting up others. Inside the expo hall. Outside the registration booth. At restaurants and bars. By the pool. There was always someone willing to ask questions, share ideas, and create connections."

"FinCon is also a chance for us to teach everything we know in order to help others improve their sites, podcasts, and channels. The unrestrained sharing of info and experience is astounding. In a lot of other fields, people would be jealously guarding their secrets. Not here. Here, folks are dropping knowledge bombs all of the time." -J.D. Roth, Get Rich Slowly

ABOUT

FinCon
Central

FinCon Central is the hub of the FinCon experience, and this year it will take place both live and virtually. It includes exhibits, live podcasting, video booths, and more! Our partnering brands will also be there to network and do business with you, so plan to take advantage of this time to grow your platform and network.

We intentionally design FinCon so that you get as much real value from the experience as you can, and FinCon Central is a key part of that value. It’s a high-energy place to discover platform solutions, collaborate with other creators, and meet face-to-face or virtually with potential sponsors.

Don’t just take our word for it

"I’ve made some of the best connections and had some of the best opportunities for my work by attending FinCon..."

pro Networking

And Why I should Upgrade

Pro Networking is an exclusive networking opportunity where Pro Pass holders and brands schedule mutually-beneficial meetings in a set apart meeting space. The goal is to connect Pro level attendees to the companies and brands they want to do business with. The meetings are brief, focused, and scheduled ahead of time-based on acceptance by both parties. It also includes a mixer with brands and other Pro Pass holders.

Pro Networking is only included with the  #FinCon2020 Pro Pass and is available whether you attend in person or virtually.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

“Community first” is one of our core values, so it’s at the forefront of our minds as we make plans.

Here are 2 key things to know right now:

1. #FinCon2020 will likely be a hybrid event.

We know that FinCon is super important to our industry and many people rely on this event to grow their businesses and platforms, so as of today, we are planning to hold #FinCon2020 in Long Beach, California.

Since the needs of our community are varied, though, we are also preparing a virtual event experience (regardless of whether or not the in-person event happens) in case you don’t feel comfortable traveling. This is exciting because now an even broader audience will be able to participate.

So know that if #FinCon2020 happens as scheduled in person, we will still host a virtual version of the event. And don’t worry — we will make the virtual event just as awesome as the live one!

2. Safety is our top priority.

We are fully embracing the new reality of what an in-person event looks like, and the event will have changes to the schedule, layout, capacity, and activities to include best practices with event safety.

We will be in touch in mid-to late June with more details about the changes that will be taking place, and August 1 is still our deadline for determining if the live event will proceed. We will continue to update the COVID-19 statement page periodically too.

READ MORE HERE

The #FinCon2020 pass will admit you to the live, in-person event or the at-home, virtual event because the event will be the same either way, so there will not be a price adjustment.

Whether you’re in Long Beach or in the comfort of your own home, the pass includes opportunities to network within the community and with sponsors, browse FinCon Central, access tons of content, attend the opening party, hear main stage speakers, receive the FinCon Box–and it includes a few other fun surprise perks that we haven’t even announced yet!

We understand that there are a lot of virtual events taking place right now, and many of them are simply dropping a lot of content and not attempting to connect people and provide them with community-building opportunities.

Please know that our plans are centered around making the virtual event just as community-focused as any other FinCon event and you will be able to meet and network with people just as easily as you would in person. In fact, some who are in person in Long Beach will still have virtual meetings and meetups.

Plus, we will still have FinCon Central, Pro Networking, and the opening party taking place virtually so that if you decide to be in person or at home, all of the typical FinCon opportunities and fun will still be there. So don’t discount the virtual option until you’ve heard more about the plans as they unfold later in the summer!

For a quick answer, here’s our policy:

Understandably, we’ve been asked whether #FinCon2020 will be postponed or canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our current plan is to hold the event as scheduled and we have committed to updating our pass holders and sponsors/exhibitors no later than August 1, 2020. If the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact large group events through the summer, we will make a final determination about postponement no later than September 1, 2020.

In the event we must postpone #FinCon2020 due to circumstances beyond our control, the postponed event will take place no later than March 31, 2021. Should this happen, your pass or booth/sponsorship will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled dates. In the event we are unable to reschedule and hold FinCon in that timeframe, we will either transfer your pass or booth/sponsorship to the next scheduled event (#FinCon2021) or accept refund requests.

For now, we’re having everyone hang onto their passes until August 1 so you can then make an informed choice once it’s been determined if #FinCon2020 will take place in person. At that point, you can decide whether you’d like to apply your existing pass to the virtual event, a future event in 2021, or request a refund.

Read the full event and refund policy in our official COVID-19 Statement.

Since we have created a virtual event this year, we have not made a decision on offering recordings-only option after #FinCon2020. If we do, it will not be for sale until after #FinCon2020 ends.

All 6 of the hotels with FinCon room blocks will guarantee your reservation with the first night’s deposit on your credit card. Then you’ll have up to 72 hours before your arrival to cancel without penalty.
