Thank you for signing up for the FinCon Marketplace.
Before we dig into how you could make use of the Marketplace, we want to be transparent about our goals and monetization.
We have two goals for FinCon Marketplace:
1. One of the tenets of FinCon is “Profit,” and by creating a Marketplace of ad networks and affiliate marketing programs, we saw an opportunity to help you profit.
2. We want to make it easier for advertisers with relevant affiliate programs and reputable ad networks to connect with content creators who seek to make a profit.
We have referral agreement in places with advertisers in the Marketplace. In exchange for obtaining a listing in the Marketplace, advertisers agree to pay referral fees to FinCon for referring content creators to their programs.
Using the Marketplace
Content creators who want to gain access to the Marketplace will need to go to this page and create a profile.
You can add as much information to your profile as you wish, but it is recommended that you fill it out completely upon sign up.
Once your profile has been created, you’ll be directed to the list of monetization opportunities, which includes affiliate programs and ad networks.
You can review the entire list or you can use the filters at the top of the list of opportunities if there is a specific advertiser you’re interested in.
There are two ways to apply for these opportunities, depending on what the advertiser has chosen:
1. Some advertisers have links in their listings (e.g. Airbnb) that send you to another website (e.g. Impact Radius) where you will complete an application to be considered.
2. Other advertisers use the built-in application functionality. For example, let’s say you are interested in promoting disability insurance from Breeze. All you need to do is click the “Sign Up” button and your profile information will be sent to Breeze. Breeze will review your profile to see if your content is a good fit and get in touch with you.
We’d love to hear from you. What else would you like to see added to the Marketplace?
