4 Months Out – Demographics and Attendee Stats for #FinCon12
We’re roughly four months away from FinCon12. Things are really starting to shape up. We’re starting to get a picture of what the event will look like, what will be discussed, and who will be there. I thought it would be helpful to share some high-level stats about the attendees.
To date (5/1/2012), we have 213 people signed up to attend. At least 90 of those people were at FinCon11 (love that!). This leaves us with 137 tickets remaining.
We’re only selling 350 tickets this year, so make sure you buy one before they sell out. We’ll have another 50 from sponsoring companies, for a grand total of 400 people in attendance.
Are these bloggers?
Roughly 70% of the attendees are what I would call independent financial bloggers or freelancers (in the personal finance, couponing, and investing niches). The remaining are attendees from prominent financial companies and new startups, corporate bloggers, and some folks from the social media world. See the full list here: http://fincon12.eventbrite.com/
